From now on, foreigners and stateless persons who legally reside on the territory of Ukraine can identify their identity, create Diya.Signature and use other Diya services.
More than 200,000 foreigners who received these documents in the form of a plastic card with an electronic chip after April 25, 2018 can take advantage of digital residence permits. To do this, you need a smartphone with an NFC chip, a bank account for authorization via BankID and an identification code.
To reflect biometric documents in the mobile application, owners of temporary or permanent residence permits in Ukraine must install the updated version of “Diya”, log in and follow further instructions in the application.
We would like to remind you that the passports of the new sample in the form of a plastic card corresponds the most modern international standards in the field of document security and, thanks to the built-in electronic chip, are more protected against forgery, copying and theft of personal data. In addition, they are more convenient and wear-resistant than their paper analogues.
