Щодо легалізації офіційних документів
За інформацією, наданою Міністерством закордонних справ України, документи, видані компетентними органами України, які подаються на території Республіки Білорусь громадянами України та юридичним особами, повинні бути легалізовані шляхом проставлення штампу «Апостиль» відповідно до положень Конвенції від 5 жовтня 1961 року, що скасовує вимогу легалізації іноземних офіційних документів.
Відтак, відповідно до принципу взаємності, до громадян Республіки Білорусь застосовуються аналогічні вимоги при подачі ними до територіальних органів та підрозділів ДМС документів, виданих компетентними органами Республіки Білорусь.

Апостиль – це спеціальний штамп, який проставляється на офіційних документах, що надходять від держав-учасниць Конвенції. Штамп апостиля розміщується або на самому документі, або на окремому аркуші, що скріплюється з документом.
В Україні повноваження на проставлення апостиля надані Міністерству освіти і науки, Міністерству юстиції України та Міністерству закордонних справ України. Міністерство освіти і науки України уповноважене ставити апостиль на офіційних документах, що стосуються сфери освіти і науки. Міністерство юстиції проставляє апостиль на документах, що видаються органами юстиції та судами, а також на документах, що оформляються нотаріусами України. Міністерство закордонних справ – на всіх інших видах документів.
Regarding the legalization of official documents
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, documents issued by the competent authorities of Ukraine, which are submitted on the territory of the Republic of Belarus by citizens of Ukraine and legal entities, must be legalized by affixing the “Apostille” stamp in accordance with the provisions of the Convention of October 5, 1961, which repeals the requirement of legalization of foreign official documents.
Therefore, in accordance with the principle of reciprocity, citizens of the Republic of Belarus are subject to similar requirements when submitting documents issued by the competent authorities of the Republic of Belarus to the territorial departments and units of the SMS.

Apostille is a special stamp that is affixed to official documents originating from States-Parties to the Convention. Apostille stamp is placed either on the document itself or on a separate sheet attached to the document.
In Ukraine, the authority to place the apostille is given to the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is authorized to put the Apostille on official documents related to the sphere of education and science. The Ministry of Justice places Apostille on documents issued by the justice and courts, as well as on documents drawn up by notaries of Ukraine.
